    I'm best man at a wedding next month so I would like to hijack the thread a bit if that's ok Dribs? Any suggestions? Funny speeches or funny lines (that wont get me kicked out of the venue)?

    Was a couple of years ago but I did a slide show of about dozen embarrassing photos of groom some with me as kids in to show his life and friends, talked through therm got laughs and then the romantic bit at end with photos of them as a couple. didnt dare mention that since she had come on the seen strangely the number of photos of him at golf or footy etc had decreased dramatically.

    You can say that the couple are perfect for one another. No marriage is perfect and they need to tolerate
    one another. Tell them that they can settle matters between themselves and should not consult outsiders.

    It's got to be the most thankless task you can get lumbered with. Maybe wouldn't be so bad if you got the chance to prove that you were the best man :bandit:
