    Wow.

    Talking of mascots, Farnborough might be getting a new falcon type mascot and I've been trying to convince them to not go for the God-awful current name of Farney (as in Farney Rubble, wtf that's the mascot I have no idea), instead suggesting Cody (as in Samuel Cody), thankfully at least a few of the other people on the forum are in favour of that!

    The designer (a Turner-prize winning artist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) says it is a Sun with a quizzical look on its face. It is based on the logo of their new American sponsors....who I can only assume produce horror films.

    Parma has gone bankrupt after no buyers came forward.

    Did you know that early banks used to operate from tables called banques in Italy and if they run out of money their banques were broken, hence bankrupt. Not a lot of people know that.

    Still 0-0 at nearly 40 mins. Norway have been the better side...our GK is the outstanding player for us so far...never a good sign.

    What kind of crap pitch is this though....apparently they keep watering it as it is getting too hot!!
