Now Trippier is at a club Hodgson has heard of I think he'll be pushing Clyne for an England place.

Or he'll just keep picking Jones.

Have to say I totally understood Clyne's strop on this. A really good right back behind Jones and Henderson is plain stupid.

What division do Burnley play in ?
Next season, the Championship, but last season he played in the Premier League. We stopped him having to play in the Championship. He was sold because he was considered too good to go down a league. I am unsure about him, but he is a Premiership player.

Technically when the transfers can by completely officially on July the 1st you'll be signing him from a Championship Club. It's matters not though, it was weak wumming in the first place. Even a moron can see Trippier is comfortably Premiership quality. All that matters now is if he can step up enough in the 'difficult' 2nd season to improve you.

I Think the fool needs to remember a certain Mr Walcott and Mr Oxlade-Chamberlain who both played Championship seasons the season before they signed for Arsenal. But idiots tend to have short memories.

Good point, Funky. I saw Walnut play for Saints in the Championship, and even though he was the best player on the park, he was muscled off the ball far too often, when his pace couldn't protect him. He looked scrawny. Also, a lot of the time, he did some very fast runs, but forgot to take the ball with him.

Also, well done for recognising that PISKIE is a fool. We, on this board, keep him as our pet clown.

That just shows how much he's developed at Arsenal then. <ok>

Rumours this morning that Dembele will be leaving Spurs to join West Ham in a £12m deal. Also the Spuds are offloading Soldildo for a £15m loss ! The Genius in the transfer market Daniel Levy strikes again <laugh>

If he's getting £12m for Dembele then that is pretty genius.

£12m for Dembele is about right to be honest. Decent holding MF player.

It would really break you to give Levy any praise, won't it?

That is so very shallow.

Even I have given Wenger praise, in the past. I was the one who said he was the best looky-likey duvet cover in the game, but you conveniently forget stuff like that.

The papers said he wore it for a comedy event!

i i think he wore it for a bet

All the Celebs there wore the T-Shirt, it was for a comedy event in Marrakech. The T-shirt has prominent Moroccan and French comedians on it and the event was attended by some of the most well known names in Football.

He still looks like a complete minge though.

<laugh> Can't disagree with that.

Wenger doesn't really pull of casual. I think his skinny beanpole figure is best suited to a suit and shirt.

Cech on the brink of a move to Arsenal ?

It would represent a massive shift in Arsenal's fortunes signing a world class player from one of their rivals. The racist chav captain has already said that it will give Arsenal another 12-15 points per season.

He's taking the piss out of you, PISKIE. What he's actually saying is, that even with Cech in goal, you still won't have the bottle to challenge.
