Whoever is reporting that obviously doesn't watch BBC 1 or listen to Radio 2. They're holding open auditions for anyone who wants to present the show, they can be celebrities, car mechanics, or simply anyone who knows a bit about cars and fancies giving it a go. I'm assuming the competition to become the next Top Gear presenter will probably turn into a show of its own.
I like Evans on R2 and TFI. I shall watch it but Top Gear as we know. It now is dead. The BBC will pay the price. A story today that desperate BBC asked. Clarkson to come back but he said No. Maybe why Evans did a U turn. ?
I cannot believe there is enough interest in this to create 34 pages of comment. I mean obviously there is, the evidence is there and it's harmless but I just do not understand it. Thread on TV programmes we dont get?
It was certain strange, Evans siting next to Clarkson a week or so earlier, when asked by Clarkson, are you going to take my old job, Evans said something like, "No I have ruled myself out of the it"
Oh, and TV programmes we don't get? All soap operas and all reality shows. They're **** and why people watch that ****e I have no idea.
That story's rubbish, a BBC exec asked him out of interest if he'd ever consider coming back to do it, the BBC had absolutely no intention of reinstating him.
Evans is the only realistic choice. I'm surprised that he's not already been knighted. And kinged. And sworn in as President. And given every top job in the world. And deified. He can choose anyone on the planet and throughout history to be his stooges. He's that perfect. http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/...giant-address-book-of-knobheads-2015061799362
As we all know, Stewart Lee is the funniest comedian that's ever hit the circuit, and he doesn't like Top Gear. He's written about Chris Evans becoming the new presenter. I doubt any of us could argue with any of it, and in fact, as per, Stew had me giggling away with this. Enjoy. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/jun/21/top-gear-chris-evans-sphincter
I watched the new sweeny the other day, beforehand I was sure it was Glenister in it. Turned out it was Ray Winstone so I wasn't too disappointed. Slaaaaags !
Not according to Carol Vorderman who knows both parties. However Clarkson is better off now elsewhere with Hammond and May. The BBC will live to regret what has happened in time.
What - you mean not renewing the contract of someone who punched a fellow employee in the face? If they had brushed it under the carpet it wouldve been an interesting precedent, I could just see Mary Berry smacking Graham Norton in the face with her high heels.
I don't know, as I think he is a pretend comedian who is just not funny and I could argue with all of it in one word....boring
Whatever you want. In my opinion those shows are ****ing atrocious and I don't see the appeal in them whatsoever.
I dont understand the kitchen sink drudgery of soaps, particularly UK ones. How empty must your own life be if you want to watch someone else's daily struggles? And how do people manage to devote the required time for them? These things are on every bastard night.
