This gives you a slightly moral high ground but for me the only people who have the right to criticise me or anyones meat choices are veggies (not the fake ones who eat fish but not land animal meat) and i bet you love a good lecturing from those eco warriors

They don't rear them in the same way we rear animals for consumption though do they? They treat them in a barbaric manner and kill them in the same way, go have a read up on the process, and poke your sanctimonious jibe up your ****ing arse sideways btw.

    It's not hypocritical at all.

    It's a matter of opinion.

If they ate an endangered species would it be hypcoritical to speak out against the practice because we eat meat?

p.s. I'm still waiting to hear about these bugs mate <whistle>

Where did i say torturing dogs is okay? I haven't read the article in full but if they are being tortured then that is obviously not right. Where i was arguing with tobes was this:

Mr i'm always the moral guideline and always right Tobes has said eating dog is "****ing disgusting". I've called him on that and now you come butting in.

You might be right on some football matters and thats what you need to stick to. And sucking off Rodgers. the 2 things you are good at

Also you're taking 1 article for where dogs are being tortured to be a generic they torture dogs in generally before eating them. I will personally suck rodgers cock on your behalf if there hasn't been 1 incident in the whole of the UK whereby any rear animal has been treated 100% humanely

    Open rb up your browser
    go to google
type in 'will we have to eat insects on the future'

Then read any of the hundreds of articles that come up, most of which confirm that if population continues to grow, we'll have to produce more food and with land already being used to the max that could be tricky so insects could form an easy way to get protein. Easy to farm large amounts in much smaller places and most offer more protein than other animals

Fine they are treated inhumanely. They should be killed like other animals if they are to be eaten.

You're still a massive hypocrite and you are trying to move the goalposts of eating dogs is disgusting to eating dogs is disgusting and inhumane.

You could say the same thing about locally sourced 'organic' meat you eat mate.

Organic is not in any way a protected term - I could force feed my own ****e to a cow and kick it in the bollocks every day and still sell its beef as organic in any shop. If I let it stagger round my garden once a week whilst beating it with a broom handle, I could probably also call it free range.

    Also this:

    http://science.time.com/2013/12/16/...vironmental-impact-of-global-meat-production/

33% of global fresh water and 30% of global land used to produce current volumes of meat, with a global average production per person of around a quarter of the average US and UK consumption.

In other words, if the entire world starts eating meat at the same rate as the US and the UK, we'd need 133% of the available water and 120% of global land to be allocated to meat production in order to feed them.

    Does not compute.

Oh a very balanced article that mate <laugh>

I live in the country side I know the local farms, I'm as close to it as you can get apart from rearing my own.

The conditions for free range reared pigs for example is a world away from the unlit sheds that they're cramped into for 'normal' production.

I don't see the problem with eating dogs or any animal that isn't endangered. Provided the animals are treated properly throughout there lives and slaughterd in a humane way I'm quite happy for people to eat any animal. It's completely ridiculous to try and say it's ok to eat some animals but not others based on us thinking some are cute enough to be kept in our houses rather than in a field.

It's actually quite an interesting topic of discussion but the aggression and attitude shown by Tobes and Astro has turned it into an angry place to be... I'm gonna go search for a rainbow and some butterflies to catch.

Personally I find it disgusting. But I eat cows, pigs etc. So who am I to comment on what others do. People eat allsorts of things all over the world. Boiled cat is a delicacy as close as switzerland. It sucks, but many from india would say the same about how we eat cows

Yes, probably best. An argument/debate with Tobes always gets heated with his outbursts. It's like having a debate with a islamic extremist always. First its i'm correct. Second its his way and his way only followed by a stream of abuse.

Look at how he just dismisses Swarbs article just like that (i guess PETA isn't the most neutral of sources. I'm guessing his petlovers one isn't either)
