As a nipper in the '50s I stood outside the players entrance gathering autographs and when the opposition team coach turned up most were happy to stand and sign for all the kids there. Had all the greats at one time or another.
Fantastic photographs. I'm too young to remember the place myself but my parents hold fond memories of it. We actually have a piece of the old ground in our garden as a memento.
