Second thoughts are that Alonso may have clipped his rear?

Great starts for Sainz and Pérez :)

Sad for McLaren that they don't even get the running time to make improvements.

The crash/safety car ruined a promising start to the race.

Mclaren have no chance of improving with the worst engine on the grid, unless they cut a hole in the bottom and have the drivers run it home... Probably would be quicker!

Knew this would end in disaster, feel sorry for Alonso. Genuinely, genuinely, they might as well have a cosworth engine.

<laugh> Well yeah, but more data is more power for whenever they may be able to implement it.

This is really boring, isn't it? I saw Toto Wolff almost apologising yesterday that it would be like this; he wasn't wrong.

Nasr vs. Romain was exciting, David was too constipated to translate that excitement into the TV as usual. **** commentary. Rather be watching bowls.

It's done nothing but rain here since Christmas. I'm not sure I can risk a rain dance.

My dad used to put the F1 on, watch the start, fall asleep by lap 4, and then wake up for the last lap. I think I'll try that tact next race.

Grosjean "There's a problem with the gearbox", as he runs around on the grass...

Think the satnav is more of the issue Romain <laugh>

I'm entitled to whine all I want mate, if the commentary was a little better it would be bareable.

Maldonado and Nasr having a good drive.
