There's no danger of you coming up against Real Madrid as they play in the champions league <ok>

We have a thread on the Spurs board called No **** Sherlock. Your reply belongs there. They are the only team to muller us (thanks to a stupid sending off) in Europe. Perhaps now you have a lower seeding, we might be playing you later this year?

It would be so funny if you did drop into it next season!

Yeah, dropping out of the Champions League and going on to lose to a former Spurs player in the final never happened:

Wow, you almost had to go back to the last century to dig that one up.

and it is a one off, we've qualified for the CL every season since Wenger's first full season and made the group stages each time bar 2000. On the flip side, the Spuds one off is managing to qualify for the competition just the once.

We leave Spursday night football to the less successful team in North London <ok>

Nah, it's not cruel. I'm sure they are used to the humiliation of living in our shadow by now

It's not my fault you Spuds feel threatened by Arsenal. I'm just stating cold indisputable facts. <ok>

And yet we've progressed past the last 16 more recently than you have. Quite embarrassing, really.
How many weeks before the Wenger Out banners hit the stands this time?

You're not a North London side, either. Keep pretending, but you're still the MK Goons.

<laugh> You're getting as desperate as HIAG

Next you'll be claiming (like he did) that getting to the QF is going further than Arsenal, even though we've been in a final.

Ah, Piskie's twin obsessions of Spurs and HIAG.
I'm sure that you'll manage to post on here one day without mentioning either.

Boys, lets keep this thread on the subject of Bilic and West Ham. I fancy him to out-tactic the chubby little argie again, just like he did twice last season.

We closed the gap between us and the spuds by 12 points last season (29 down to 17). This season the gap will be less than 10 before we leapfrog them in 16/17.

  16. Tricky... <applause>

There's been far too much unnecessary wummery on this thread and it must end.

This thread isn't about the failings of Arsenal in Europe, it's about the imminent failings of the Spanners under Bilic.

    Please keep on topic, lads.

The gap is closing (whilst the gap between Arsenal and Spurs is widening once again) and West Ham could be in the midst of the power shift. I think the new Stadium will go a long way to help improve the Hammers revenue and therefore spending power in the market.

West Ham also have a great academy and this, coupled with extra spending power could see them leave the spuds in their wake, especially as having missed out on the OS (despite some dirty tactics) Spurs now have to build a new stadium and could find it difficult to hang onto their best players whilst trying to balance the books paying for it.

What's the evidence of the West Ham academy being great? Don't see many East End boys coming through - not since Noble? Whereas the Spurs academy is flourishing thanks to the state of the art training facilities we've built. <ok>

So you closed the gap well done, I just wonder how your squad will cope with extra matches this season, the Europa league has been fairly unforgiving on sides that have qualified for the first time and in the last campaign you fell away quite badly in the 2nd half of the season with only premier league matches.

In addition last season you had one of the most experienced premier league managers, next season you have someone who is completely new to it (and thats not a criticism just a fact). He maybe brilliant but his career so far as a manager has been a bit hit and miss in my opinion.

To be fair, the Spuds league form suffered terribly after playing Spursday night matches.
