Hope he does well for you if/when he signs. Bit gutted things never worked out for him with us as he looked a very exciting prospect when signed off the back of a brilliant Copa America winning young player of the tournament. Think he needed time to adapt here or a stint in Italy/Spain where S.Americans can get used to European football before coming to the Prem. His main problem is his speed which didn't help when we tried to hold a high line. £4m is a fair price but a couple of good seasons and he could well be worth £10+ (or knowing us we'll but him back for £20m )
He looked shocking earlier in the season but back end he was near faultless. At 24 years old people can stop saying we don't permanently sign any of our up and coming loan players. Will be a good signing I think.
Quite possibly mate but I'm not sure we're in a position where we can spend a season bedding people in yet. Think that's a luxury that mid table brings you. Having said that we seem to have spent the last four years trying to give Connor a chance to shine.
Yeah I don't think our situation has changed since we got up mate. Even the year we ended up finishing 10th we looked dead certs to drop at points during the season.
