Did you ****. If anything you encouraged my boozing and drug abuse. In fact, especially you. Am only being nice cause I've been in the situation before.
Get a proper job, agencies are only a foot in the door to a permanent role. As soon as you get in, ask about becoming permanent.
Some boy I know that still works for the council was telling me that some lad worked with the agency 6 years before he got a place at the council. And that was only because some **** retired
Bosses take the piss because they don't think people will fight back. A woman at my work - who's been there nearly thirty years - is being shafted at the moment. But they don't like it when you fight back. I got £11.5k in comp from a set of bastards who will remain nameless, and I was one of eleven who took them to the cleaners for the same thing. Obviously, the OP isn't in the same situation, but that's one of the reasons why you've got to go permanent as soon as you get chance - and get a year under your belt so you have employment rights. Easier said than done, though
No wonder your marriage was up **** creek. If I was married to you and you drank £11.5k I'd be pissed off as well. I mean you could've got half a key of chinggus = profit.
Councils are a ****ing nightmare, GCC set up a Credit Union a few years back and 26 of the 27 vacancies were filled internally. A guy I know got the only externally filled post and he was a dick.
To be fair, when I said 'I wasted' I should've said 'my wife wasted.' But that's women for you. A third of it disappeared immediately in the form of legal fees. But that's solicitors for you. Of course, I shouldn't have had my home insurance - and therefore my legal protection - with my employers; thereby creating a conflict of interests which cost me over £3300. But that's Jip Jaap Stam for you.
Aye. The filling places internally is the norm these days. To be fair there is sometimes (like the guy I mentioned) people that deserve it. For the most part its who you know though. Every councils the same.
£6.86 p/h,hmm seems a bit low,is that the norm in Britain? As for Edge the Polish wouldn't work for that, tenner minimum but that would only be 200 a week!My advise for what it's worth get a education and then the world is your bivalve molluscs .
