Top-notch move by Liverpool. Flanagan played a ball into N'Gog, N'Gog backflicked it into Pacheco, Pacheco passed it to Shelvey/Spearing and Shelvey/Spearing played a defence-cutting pass to Pacheco who was one-on-one but shot just wide. Good move. EDIT: I'm not sure if it was Shelvey or Spearing who played the final ball.
They're not great (the Chinese) but they pass to feet and aren't complete cripples, in most preseasons we would labour to a 2nil win with a couple of scrappy second half goals. This is actually nice to watch. Can't wait to see what happens when the top dogs come off the bench. Meanwhile Pacheco just played a great one-two and missed with only the keeper to beat- side-footed wide. Pacheco having much more of a presence than i've seen him have before, where he usually looks like a youth player amongst men. If he carries on like this could be a good player to have alongside Suarez. Oh and over half an hour in and Martin Kelly is still called John Flanagan. To be fair they do look alike... Two people who do look alike though- Shelvey and Gerrard. In style that is. Jonjo is so like Stevie in that rangy box to box style. Most important of all N'Gog does what he does best and scores his second offside goal.
