true...in fact i've often thought of getting in touch with the academy..but i've never had enough space...but this coming year is going to be quieter, so perhaps now is the time. i just missed out on Sean Murray, which is a shame...coz i'm teaching his mate lol
One of the Academy boys (might have been Massey) did say they can't wait to start learning.... I guess teach one and they can spread the word....
Might as well ask, worse they can say is no!! Guess it would be good to have continuity in teaching for the lads too!
Sorry to be sexist but I don't think many of them will want a female instructor as they will need to know how to reverse and go more than 30 mph
Well I most certainly do care where the money has come from. I am a stakeholder in Watford FC, albeit emotional rather than financial. In the same way as a stakeholder in a public company wants to know that the company is in good hands and, among other things, is not too highly indebted, I would like to know whether my club has a stable source of finance or whether we've been mortgaged to the hilt, so to speak. Clearly I have no "right" to this information but that doesn't mean I don't want it, nor that I feel we don't need to know. Unless Bazzini was banking on winning the lottery (and got very lucky yesterday...) or is engaged in successful business ventures about which he is keeping very quiet, it is very difficult to see where the money is coming from if it is not in the form of loans. I think curiosity, even puzzlement given his interview in the Watford Observer, is perfectly understandable.
OLM Have you gone down the road of thinking his income shall we say be coming from grey areas! you know things you link with strip joints and the like! Have to be careful how we say things here!
Even so its prob not a good idea to publically post my thoughts on this matter ! and I am sure you have gone down the same road of speculation!
I'm pretty sure I didn't say anything remotely actionable there. Genuinely, I wasn't even alluding to anything "murky"; all I was suggesting is that when someone without obvious wealth spends a lot of money then the rational person wonders where the money came from. For example, if a friend of seemingly limited means bought a flash new car or house, I might privately wonder if he'd won the lottery or taken out a big loan.
i know what you mean. I knew someone at my kids' primary school who had a good size house and a nice car. Suddenly, they got themselves a spanking great house complete with pool and electric gates, new cars, the kids were taken out of the school and sent private, and they kept the house and rented it out...and denied they'd come into money!
