Love the idea of being able to wee on a football stadium from your window! I would not want to try this at Raith Rovers where there appears to be a meeting of crosswinds!
What would I like? Phew, how long have I got? Here goes for some......... 1. For football to win and money to lose. That means smaller clubs like ours beating some of the big boys occasionally and hopefully Man City or Chelsea not winning the league. 2. For Norwich City to have a really good cup run -preferably F.A.Cup but if it needs be the other one then fine. 3. For us not to have relegation worries beyond February and have the luxury of enjoying the run-in with no pressure. 4. For none of our top players to be poached, nor indeed our manager. 5. For the club as a whole to gain better recognition for how we do things. 6. For the BBC to grow up (see point 5) 7. For Match of the Day to actually mean something. It has become a series of non-related clips that do not constitute a match at all and the analysis has become too tedious and totally boring. More continuous flow of games so that the viewer can appreciate more about how some teams actually play. I get so fed up with the same shot / goal / incident being shown from umpteen angles. 8. For one of the 'bigger' clubs to get relegated. 9. For another unfashionable club to get promotion to the PL so that the old school becomes more diluted and we see something of a transfer of power away from the usual suspects. 10. For 3 points on the opening day to set us up for the season.
Agree especially with point (9), Thurnby. But sadly, given the obscene imbalance of how money is distributed between the various leagues, I'm afraid that ain't going to happen any time soon. That's exactly the reason I'm so pleased for Eddie Howe and Bournemouth this year
So true on 9, but needs some of the tired boring clubs that add nothing to be the ones replaced. No point it being Bournemouth who are replaced
WBA don't have the "old money" hanging over them and have gotten to where they are the way I expected us to, up and down a few times before getting a really strong core of players that can maintain their place in the league. Sunderland have been flirting with relegation for about 3 seasons now, and it was their ridiculous escape act that got us relegated. Newcastle are just a shambles, Mike Ashley is a terrible person and though I feel bad for their supporters, I'd love to see it all crumble again. Villa have a hugely inflated sense of self worth and not a very good squad. I thought Tactics Tim did an alright job at the end of last season, but I also have a feeling it was just a confidence boost, as they looked awful in the last couple of games and the FA Cup Final especially.
Well all football clubs are to a point even going down to the Torquays and Hartlepools of this World, but you can accept surely the vast difference between Citeh, Chelski, Manure and the likes of Swansea, Stoke and Norwich City! That was my fundamental point.

See Dave's post and also add the fact that Everton fielded a weakened side and not only lost but lost 4-0 ! Then of course there was the time when Everton needed to win on the last day and let's say a 'speculative' long range effort squirmed under Segers body in the Wimbledon goal. It has since been alleged that Segers deliberately let the goal in and when you watch it back it's had to argue. Hate 'em with a passion, they also have a ****e ground
