    Newcastle United

Dost was seen at St James Park at 12.07pm on 19th June 2015. Rumours were rife that he was speaking with Newcastle about a possible move and the sighting seems to confirm the rumours. Then again, Newcastle United also said that it was time to bolt the cart on to the horse. The only problem being that someone forgot to bring the horse along!

Only 50 days until the start of the PL season. Swansea have now managed to sign someone from St Etienne. I would love to know what that fat penfold **** is doing.

There's some conflicting reports on Dost. He's
I just read the Swans story - lad is a former France-u21 intl (who isn't), £3m and will offer "competition for Neil Taylor". A number of unique propositions (competition for places, fast activity in the transfer market) that would blow Charnley's mind. Well, if he was bothered about football it would.

Have to agree with this for now, it's all talk and we've seen no action as yet BUT there is still time and they need to make something happen in the next few days.

I hope they realize that a couple of unknown French/ Spanish/ Dutch signings won't cut it. People expect major investment. If we decide to plod into the new season with minimal investment, last seasons protests/ boycotts will seem like chickenfeed come January.

As before, I will make a judgement, firstly, when the new season starts and, secondly, when the transfer window closes. Too be complaining now is ridiculously too early as the players aren't even back from their holidays yet.

I believe we will buy but I am more concerned about numbers of buys and quality of those buys as opposed to how much is spent.

Relax, chill out and get a beer from the fridge. Plenty time to panic later.

Tbh instead of spending 15 or 20 mio on strikers we should be spending that on good defenders and a cabaye replacement.

We've got goalscorers. Cisse when not banned can easily get 15 goals a season. Perez another 10. The problem is service.

What worries me is the fact we should start to get the players in NOW in order to be ready and bedded in for day one against Southampton. We have a fairly tough start and need points on the board rather than have a relegation fight from day one. Get them in before USA trip otherwise we will make it tough for ourselves.
