I just checked on tansfermarkt and it says that he is contracted until June 2016. If this is true then Chelsea could still technically refuse to sell to Arsenal, despite Cech wanting to come to us.
Given everything Cech has done for Chelsea, would be off of them to deny him the move he wants. Although I would support them this once ....
Well its obvious that Maureen is grudgingly letting him go to us, but he did publicly promise to let him leave on his terms. If he turned back on that then I can imagine it would make him look like a complete pr1ck.
Liverpool just signed some 18 year old defender from Charlton, Gomez, lolz, so they've signed 2 players from the championship, and one from a relegated team, I would not be happy if I was a Pool fan to have these signings after such a bad season. Who knows he could work out, after all we got Jenko from Charlton, but these are definitely not the signings you'd want for your club if you're looking to challenge.
Roy is buying Championship players as they have the experience of playing in it just in case he really ****s up this year or they have been bought to make his previous signings look better
See the Scousers are getting a little excited by Firmino. Anyone ever heard or him or seen him play beyond the occasional youtube clip? I know feck all about the guy but £30m is a sh*t tonne of money for someone who nobody else seemed interested in. Obviously he could take the league by storm so fingers crossed he's not as good as Lallana or Super Mario.
