Well he's getting rave reviews at the moment and it would be a profit and a talented player who would fit directly into Leon's boots .just a thought .
Shelvey will have seen what's happened with Sigs at Spurs and give them a wide berth. Or at least I hope he does. I like all three in midfield now and think they complement each other well. It's an exciting season coming up but I don't think we can afford to lose any first teamers from the spine of the team. Wingers is about it.
Agree with this one totally shelves I feel after the second half of the season he is one of the first names on the sheet
I do think that Dyer needs to be replaced now. He has been a great servant and its nothing personal but he was 80% awful last season and we dont want that. I would like to see him moved on somewhere and try to resurrect his form and talent he has....
Yes. The perfect long term replacement for Leon. After all Jonjo will be on the bench next season for me.
Cork is a more robust dynamic enforcer compared to Leon imo. I see Carroll as the perfect replacement in terms of similarity and the only player bar Joe who could do a Leon like job in the last 20 mins etc if a game is tight. He'd also be better cover for Cork too. To answer your question, he's a cracking player
I notice Terror has mentioned Allen, and some are comparing his goal scoring ability with Shelvey, but that's flawed as Allen brings something that Shelvey cannot give and that's ball retention and possession, anyway the comparison is a non starter due to position type of player. Pool have never used Allen correctly, and hopefully we will see him return.............
