What's not to get? People might not like their music, but hardly anything difficult to understand about them.

Creep is a great record, especially if you hear their recent views on it (it makes them cringe), but I still like it.

OK Computer is a fabulous album, but again, only if you like that sort of thing.

    Which I do.

    Never really got Primal Scream.

    Dull, to me.

Country Girl is seriously gash. A joke song, surely?

All music is important, it doesn't really matter if you get it or not.

Its almost certain that an artist or band you love has been heavily influenced by something you hate, it's what makes music great.

"Passable"? Kinell - The Bends was marvellous and then OK Computer reached new heights.

If by 'early stuff' you are only including their first album, because the two after it are their best albums.

Could have been anything, sequences, melodies, guitar tones, production methods, recording techniques you name it. Equally he could have never heard a single song Hendrix made and consequently there would be no influence at all.

He might openly acknowledge the influence of Hendrix or he might not even be aware of the influence he had.

Even by disliking someone's music your allowing it to have a influence on you by steering you away from that style and strengthening your vision.

You'd have to ask Prince Buster yourself to find out but the only way it didn't influence him in any way is if he had never heard any 'hippy ****' in his life, which is highly unlikely.

It's an okay basic grunge album, nothing special. Despite the bad rep Creep gets, it's still a good tune, as is You.

The band don't like it. They felt it was overplayed and that it wasn't as good as everyone made it out to be. My Iron Lung was written as a response to it. Most Radiohead fans don't like it (or at least don't admit to liking it).

    It's pretty much their Wonderwall.

l think Pablo Honey was the only half decent thing they did - but it's just down to personal taste so I haven't nominated them.

I can get understand people liking Radiohead whereas I can't fathom the appeal of, say, Bon Jovi. But then there's no accounting for taste. Someone will name the Ramones sooner or later and I'll be spitting feathers.
