DMD...I am a reasonable guy and can listen to other views. Please advise of any other alternatives where the average fan can show their anger towards Allam? Unless I am missing something, the actual problem is Allam...same question...please provide alternatives.
Who's saying you shouldn't express your anger at things they've done you don't like? I'm saying we should do precisely that. What I'm saying we shouldn't do is protest about things they're not responsible for. That just weakens the argument as the rabble rousing keeps being shown to be wrong or misguided.
I take your point regarding not responsible for. I have only listed things they are responsible for. To me it's as simple as ...you either like and trust the Allams ....or you don't. IMO there used to be floaters (fans were undecided). Now, i think it is 1 or the other. I just don't trust what they say or like what they do.
We all have our own way of dealing with things. I just don't make such black and white judgements. I don't like a fair amount of things they've done. (I could say the same about others involved), but as one example, they made money available to the manager for players when it was needed, albeit it at a price. For me, one thing that is fairly black and white, is if people are going to grumble, it should be about something they've done (or not done) not link them to something that is general in English football in the hope it adds to the dislike. It just leaves the door open to point out the number of times this is wrong. Pointing out the flaws in the claims, is not the same as backing the Allams.
I haven't noticed the Allams being blamed for all footballs ill on this thread, they've been specifically blamed for their own failings, what have I missed?
I said right at the beginning its apples and oranges. Dortmund are in a different country with a different culture. On prices in the PL have you ever thought its a lot of the smaller clubs in the FL who want the Pl to keep prices high. Liverpools extension isnt going to mean 20 quid tickets for their lost Scouse fans is it? No. Its generating more and more. Thats what Chelsea will do too.
None. If you want a list of English league clubs that should copy Dortmund, there's 92 of them. You didn't answer the question.
The culture of looking after your fans need not be country specific, which has been the only point I've been trying to make in this thread.
Kinda sucks when people think you have your own agenda and read and state things on your behalf, doesn't it?
I've criticised Allam for the piss poor way he treats Hull City fans, I obviously don't hold him responsible for the problems with the English game as a whole.
All this talk about raising ticket prices by 40% in two years, didn't we have 3/4 seasons prior to that without a pay increase. If so shouldn't the fact be 40% increase in 5/6 years?
Was there another post I can't find? Did someone edit these? Is the hue and cry against OLM just a misread which has brought the usual suspects from under their stones? Don't bother with a postcard.
