The ITK thread

Discussion in 'The Premier League' started by Hoddle is a god, Jun 17, 2015.

  1. Since we're at the start of the transfer window, I thought it apt to start this thread.

The main reason, however, why I wanted to start it, is that I've heard a rumour that Chelsea have made an approach for Oxlaide Chamberlain. That means he'll be off like a shot.

Also, I heard from a dickie bird that 'Pool might be interested in making an offer for Walnut, with the Sterling money. I think he'd be a good signing for them.

Please, post your ITK gems here.

    And, remember, no wumming, please.

  3. It's being hotly rumoured on the ITK grapevine that Arsenal could be bought out by an Idi Armin cartel.

I'll try to dig a bit deeper for more news on this one.

  4. As I said, mate, no wumming, please.

Or, if you are going to wum, at least put some effort into it and try to make it look like it could be real.

    Otherwise, only true ITK, please.

  8. "Manchester United will move for Everton's Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku, 22, if they cannot sign Atletico Madrid forward Mario Mandzukic, 29."
    (Source: The Sun)

The Sun always seems to be pretty much ITK.

So, I think we can take it as fact, now, that United know there's little point in trying to move for Kane.

  9. Oh, this is interesting!

"Jack Wilshere, 23, will become Manchester City's next English transfer target. City are expected to make an initial £30m move for the Arsenal midfielder after having an improved £40m offer for Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling, 20, rejected on Wednesday."
    (Source: The Mirror)

The Mirror always seems to be pretty much ITK, so I think this may well have legs.

So, what do we have so far?

'Pool will go for Walnut if they do sell Sterling, and £ity will go for Wiltshire if they don't; plus, we've got Chelsea going after Oxo.

  11. But could the backing of one of the world's most famous pop stars swing it in Harry Kane's favour? The Tottenham striker has the vote of One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson, who has tweeted: "I'm backing Harry Kane for the Fifa 16 cover. Defo deserves it! Doing it for England!"
    (Source: BBC Football "gossip" page)

If anyone deserves it, it's Kane. I think he will be the neutral's No.1 choice.

  13. The thing about AFC is that they are on that next tier down from the very best clubs, so they must expect to feed these clubs any half-decent talent.

Personally, I wouldn't want Wiltshire at Spurs, but, then again, we don't need to bolster the number of our home-grown players, whereas £ity do. Wiltshire will look good sat on the £ity bench.

  16. Why do you have to try to make this personal? Who mentioned Spurs?

If the ITKs had info relating to Spurs I'm sure they'd let us know (on this thread).

And, yes, you're right... Spurs are far too lowly (in 5th spot <doh>) to be of any interest to the kinds of clubs that AFC are being forced to feed their best players to. Once the shift has taken place (and I still remain undecided on that issue) things will change, but until that happens the bigger clubs are looking to decimate Arsenal's chances of challenging for anything, next season.

You've simply got to deal with that (without feeling the need to wum every 5 minutes).

  17. Good ITK, my friend!

Is Isco a good player for you?

I take it that Isco is actually a player, and not simply some foreign supermarket chain that is looking to open up a new shop within the vicinity of your ground?
