Who do you want to get first? I'd like some of the harder teams away first. Always good to play those before everyone has had a chance to settle into a rhythm.
I suppose it depends on who hits the road running 1st, as there won't be much of a pre-season for some players - particularly the South American players so Di Maria, Sanchez, Ospina, William, Oscar for example. But as Sanj says, it's probably good to have Spurs early and we can really aim for that game and use it as a spring board to go on a good run at the start of the season!
Here is the full list: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...2015-2016-season-revealed-Read-list-here.html Early fixtures against Liverpool at home and Chelsea away to look forward to.
Looking like a very tough January/February period, fixtures against Liverpool, Stoke, Chelsea, Man U and Sp*rs. After that the run in is very tame.
These fixtures are BS, in September and November we play back-back away games, and we get one period of back-back home games end of November beginning of December.
But we play twice back-back away games before playing back-back home games, that's not fair, and over the course of the whole season we play 3 times back-back away games, and only once back-back home games, that's not fair at all.
Happy with that. We have an excellent recent record against the likes of West Ham, Newcastle and Palace. Chelsea away is the first big test.
Rather happy with that fixture list... IF we can get off to a flyer there's no reason with those fixtures why we can't be top at Santa time!
Not every team will be playing 3 times back-back away games over course of season. I just checked. There's also no reason for us to be playing 3 times back-back away games.
Er, where the hell is our match thread for West Ham? Honestly, the fixture list has been out for a couple of hours now. Talk about lazy.
I never said every team would just that we wouldn't be the only one. It's just the way the computer devises the fixtures. It's pot luck not some anti Arsenal conspiracy For the third season on the bounce we play our first and last games at home
Liverpool's start to the season is a nightmare, Us, United, Chelsea, City, Sp*rs, Everton, Stoke all away before the end of November. The one advantage is that it sets them up nicely for the second half of the season, if they are still anywhere near the top.
The christmas fixture list is fairly favourable too, only one away trip to Southampton and 3 home games, City being the hardest one.
