http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-14134294 I was positively shocked when I read this because children as young as 10 years old were involved in rioting. Where were their parents when this was going on? When I was 10, my parents had me in bed by 10pm during the school year and 11pm in the Summer. What is happening to the world that 10 year olds think it is funny to throw bricks at police? It's disgraceful
The media always say ****e like that. How do they know they were 10? Did they interview them? More likely there were some young kids standing around trying to act all grown up and the 'journalist' made the rest up.
Chico has a point though. A lot of parents don't give a **** these days. No wonder their kids get in trouble.
Everything's going to **** mate, and that means parenting too unfortunately. When I was a kid, the lowest class was the working class. Now you've got the "underclass", scallies, chavs, schemies whatever you want to call them. Bred into crime, indolence and dishonesty, they're ****ed from the moment they're conceived.
You can kind of tell by looking at them that they would be around 10 years old. They wouldn't exactly be too tall or have beards/stubble.
I was in Liverpool yesterday, and went to a McD's to use the internet, the place was ****ing mobbed with families and this was at 11am-ish Fat kids and mutant parents. Unfortunately, this seems to be commonplace in todays Britain, people get by on benefits.
Doesn't that just prove they're lying? Why are these kids always 10? Never 9 or 11. And who's to say they weren't just standing watching?
Well if they are 9 that is worse and 11 is no better. Either way they are kids and should be in bed instead of rioting. Someone obviously saw them getting involved or it would not have been reported.
I'm not disagreeing with your sentiment. It's just that I've been on protest marches and the likes where trouble has broken out and I've heard this kind of **** before. Never saw any 10 yo kids at them despite what was reported.
Chicarito you have to remember these riots took place in Belfast. Those involved no doubt live in some ****ty council estate where the parents are probably only early 20s and have never been outside of their estate, wear tracksuits and all have little spidey mustaches (including the women) So whilst you have a point - these people are neds no doubt. every big town /city has them. The NI situation just gives them an opportunity to riot. They'd be doing the same in Liverpool or Glasgow if the religious divide was the same as in NI
But you're obviously a decent person. The problem lies in scumbags breeding with scumbags in a scummy area. It's almost inevitable that the kids will turn out to be horrible people. And this section of society only seems to be growing.
or have a cull of all neds. Would help solve the unemployment problem. Would result in less benefits being paid. Less burden on the NHS etc less crime
