I loved the first two seasons but I watched them all together and its been about a year since too. got to get back into it.
Spoiler: GoT Do you think there's a chance none of them died? I mean Brienne didn't seem too convinced by killing Stannis. Sansa looked like suicide to me but it might've been jumping down to safety and escaping as you say. And not even Jon Snow's death seemed final like the other deaths. II dunno, I felt that about this series what with Arya going to Bravos, Stannis meeting Jon Snow & talking of taking Winterfell & Daenerys meeting Tyrion but it all happened too late. Arya did nothing for 9 episodes, Jon Snow got into 1 good battle over the whole series and killed a white walker then died (?), Sansa looked all powerful with little finger (who we barely saw) and the vale behind her then she just got bullied by Ramsay and was locked in her room doing nothing either. Jamie & Tyrion did nothing of note bar travelling and a pathetic rescue attempt. I still enjoyed it but felt it was moving really slowly at times and they wasted a lot of episodes and stories on dead ends and I really hope they learn from that for next season and maybe try to spread stuff out a little between episodes instead of doing everything in 1 or 2 episodes then having to slow others right down so the story can fit 10 seasons.
Really and this ain't a spoiler. If Martin isn't following hot on the heels of this with his new book he is a fool. He will have the biggest selling book of the 21st century if it's ready to go. He'd be mad to let go take his story and do it their way.
Did anyone watch 'Humans' the other night? It's all been done before, but it wasn't too bad. I was ****ing annoyed last night. Vicky had gone round to a friend's house and had already set the timer to record ****ing, bastard Big Brother This meant that: 1. I couldn't watch any DVDs 2. When Mrs Dalloway came on at 10.30 pm, I couldn't record it and I was up at 6.15 am this morning to get the bus so couldn't watch all of it Big ****ing Brother
big brotha is the greatest load of crap. how it is "gaining popularity" again i do not know TV is full of this ultra cheap lowest denominator stuff. the kardasians for example. Its just brain rot. this week with jurassic world coming out discover has been wall to wall dinosaur shows... widely varying quality but the core is someone went and spent money making tv shows with a basic level of information and interest. then the next thing reality tv crap... "fast n'loud" and so forth. the cheap nasty stuff with no information I'd have deleted big brother without hesitation myself. It is unreasonable to record something like that it is too long and not worth it.
Probably far fetched but chances of Jon Snow being turned into one of the white walkers. Just seems there is a connection between the White Walker leader being the 13th Lord Commander and Jon Snow being of the same position? Last episode was pretty weak however and definitely a let down compared to episode 8(the only highlight of the series).
Anything could happen as right now they've gutted the stories. Spoiler: spoliler No idea what occured at end of the latest books of course the witch being there and the blood is a hope link but according to the actor himself he is toast... same happened with rob stark actor. it seems the sole actual hero character in the show is now dead. IMO this leaves a huge huge gap in the show. who knows i am not sure anyone knows as the next book never came out. We saw jamie lannister turn into the 2well spoken man" then have daughter drop on him so I would presume a war with dorn is next up. I find him just a bit pointless. Lose the hand and lose to rob stark makes him deeply flawed as a hero figure so wheile he might have the attidue he doesn't back it up. I'd be bored watching 10 episodes if this guy is the only hero Cercei is now back in the palace so one would presume hlaf next year will be a religious war. The tyrells were not dealt with. the fact we were shown the nuts one hit the ground but not sansa is also the same "hope".... in the books i gather they lived and headed for the wall correct? I dunno.... The whole blonide back to the beginning stuff is.... well ok now the enitre next year will see her end up leading i giant army or go nowhere I presume and its a big presumption marti nhas been waiting to release a book til now to maximise return as there must be a vast audience desperate to know what happens. If he's not got it done he is ****ing nuts. any time in next 6 months he can cream it.
Spoiler: spoliler With Jon Snow, there is a rumour around a character called Azor Ahai and that Snow will be resurrected as him, revealing him to be a contender to the throne and at the same time reveal he is actually Rhaegar and Lyanna's son. Sansa in the books is still in the Vale plotting to unite the North and the Vale with Littlefinger. It is Janye Poole (who's story Sansa has taken over) that is headed to the wall with Reek. She could head back to the Vale with Reek and then we could get the book storyline. Dany, who knows. The series has reached the end of her book story. There's supposed to be some wars at Meereen, but I doubt we'll see that as the series has moved away from that storyline. The Kings landing story is likely to be very different to the books as well, unless they suddenly introduce aload of new characters including Aegon. Again I don't know if that'll happen, would be a massive shame if they didn't use his character. I expect to see more of Bran next series and hopefully the Iron Islands.
yes i saw that the characters are placed for it... yes in an ideal world this breaks and obligation he has with the watch and frees him to go campaigning... but we wil lsee. the actor says he is done. I still expect to see those wars. i expect tyrion will be centered on it. We will see. we got short changed this year. CGI in the wallkers and dragons and then stuff that has the americans crying about girls getting burned and raped.
Oh I wouldn't know about that. Never underestimate the ability of TV companies to make dire programmes.
