Afternoon chaps. No bets for me today but thought I'd pass on two tidbits I was given yesterday: 1) A colleague went to see Able a Friend over the weekend and said he looked fantastic and has that "look of eagles" about him 2) A friend pointed out to me that when Mullins and Moore team up in As it handicaps they have an excellent strike rate (he said 3 from 3 in recent years but I haven't actually verified that). On that basis Clondaw Warrior looks a good price at 15/2 currently.
KATTANGA KATTANGA old forum amigos, think i will have a live feed for the racing here in the andalucian hills, thanks to a new satellite system installed nearby recently. jusy had to pop on to put up one that seems to be going under the radar today---the focus seems to be on moores ride for WM----but i am assured DIGEANTA may even end up fav and this one will keep my fire burning for the winter. good luck all.
Round two 305 muthmir 340 singles and double will be my only bets today as I think it's quite difficult today gl if you play
Congratulations wooly and family, I am sooo glad mine are all grown up now the only trouble is fathers day looms and it normally ends in a session (free at that). No bets at Royal Ascot for me today as it all looks a little tight . Brighton and Beverly will get my attention later although the bookies look spot on on a few races and didn't even open up giving anything away. Out do Ecliptic sunrise Belle dormant All very short but all look banker material Good luck all
Congrats Wooly! Smashing horse Solow, handy all the way and then, bang.......Surely, Able Friend's backers must have known their cash was blown before the race, he was soaking wet? Not a good sign usually? Winning time pretty quick too, so I understand.
Congrats on your addition Wooley Having a punt on Shamal Wind in the sprint, not looked much further as yet (busy, busy, busy!)
Fair play to Solow, I was wrong about him on the ground today. I knew Able Friend would bomb on the straight course however
I feel your pain Archers ..... could be worse though - celebrity chefs' telling us what people are eating. Still - it's what the mute button was invented for
Great victory for Buratino: sixth race of the year. War Department didn't get a chance but well done to Johnston.
Channel 4 Horse racing coverage should be renamed Housewives’ Choice for this week. Gok Wan poncing around telling us all about the colours of the dresses and the stitching and the hats is good enough reason to tune in five minutes before post time and tune out five minutes after finish time. I am sure the bored housewives of Essex are loving it while they neck their Aldi Prosecco. It did make me laugh before racing started when Gina Harding was in the Silver Enclosure and she spoke to the two Australian girls who said that it was just like when they had been to the races back home on the day after the Melbourne Cup. Yes girls, you were in the bit of Ascot where the Chavs are allowed at a comfortable distance from the Royal party.
What a performance by Buratino - they have just cancelled the Norfolk now and decided to hand the trophy and prize money to King Of Rooks.
Steady Pace in the last also, was 3rd behind King of Rooks and Buratino last time out and also beat King of Rooks on debut
