Don't give up on Jon just yet. Remember who arrived at Castle Black just before it happened.

Yep; they're saying he's really, totally dead, but having her arrive a scene before with no other consequence is one hell of a tell. Chekhov's Witch and all that.

Haven't watched the latest episode yet but I know what happens and I'm afraid I'm losing my affection for the show. They seem too focussed on making sure they hit their big moments and not enough on the context and motivations of characters. Hey ho.

Had the 'For the Watch' scene spoilt for me, but I still hoped they would reveal his secret in this series, somehow. Maybe Mel will find out, too many cliff hangers and not enough resolutions. Massive anti-climax on the Stannis arc, I was rooting for him and his broken state in hope that his acts wouldn't be in vain. Mel is just **** at interpreting her visions.

Snow is the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen.

Yep I also think Jon Snow is son of R. Targaeryan and L. Stark, also is Danaerys stranded in the land of Dothraki now? I couldn't see

Yeah she is, or at least trapped amongst a migrating dothraki khalasar.

Speaking of which i didnt overly like that scene. Did Danaerys really not see the 10,000+ horsemen in here immediate vicinity? She was coming from on top of a large a mountain yet couldn't spot the massive, thunderous horde until they were 20 metres away?

Yeah that was a bit weird, and how she was pissed off with her dragon having a nap and not getting her food after what he'd done for her

After a fairly slow series they managed to pack an entire series worth of 'things' into that episode last night. Jeee. I struggle to remember everything that happened. Presumably Sansa and Reek arn't dead. Technically we didn't see Stannis die either, though I assume he is dead. Now annoyed as I don't know who is going to take out the Boltons! No idea what happened to Arya, I was so pumped when she got her revenge on Meryn Trant in such an epic way and then it all went downhill rather quickly. Though The Mountains return has been on the cards all series, it was still pretty epic. Jaime Lannister is going to be pissed and that's got to lead to a war between the Lannisters and Dorne. I enojoyed Cersies humiliation, though I think she got off fairly lightly. And finally Jon Snow. It's been set up for that stupid little **** Ollie to **** Jon over for ages, but I didn't think it would be that brutal. Like others have said, I'm not convinced he's down and out though. Why else would the Red Woman return to Castle Black.

I'll just note that Cersei still has to stand trial so she isn't out of the woods. She admitted to one crime (fornication with Lancel) but she still has to be tried for the remaining crimes.

Yeah its all speculation about Jon but we've seen red priests revive people in the show so my guess is he's not dead, despite what Kit Harrington says.

Also cant wait for the Boltons to get ****ed up eventually...Though I have admit I like the way Roose is portrayed. In the books he's shown as almost cartoonishly evil from the start, but McElhatton plays him really well as toned down calculating sociopath.

Ahhh good point, I had forgotten that she still had to stand trial for the other crimes that she pleaded not guilty for. Though I suspect that the new zombie Mountain will have a part to play.
I don't know what Kit Harrington has said, but that is the first thing I thought too. Otherwise there's no character to follow at the Wall anymore.
Agreed. Roose Bolton is the type of bad guy that you kinda love as well. He's very much the new Tywin Lannister for me, though he's not really been in it much. It's mainly Ramsey that I want dead.
