I'm not sure that would be allowed, though the FA have no rules on social media site names etc, the club badge is a different matter completely.
Actually, there probably isn't I just checked the FA rules on badges on kits and it says - The officially designated club emblem, name, initials, nickname or a combination of such may appear.
Hull on its own is neither the club name, initials or nickname. A badge that says Hull Tigers FC would not be compliant.
Surely that can't be real: I've definitely seen that tiger on a free stock vector website and no self respecting designer would make something so objectively ****?
Does this mean they can change it to anything (like last season), if they say it's the new official club emblem?
The FA would have to accept it as the new club emblem, with all the other going on, I'm not sure they would. There is no rule that says you have to have your name on your badge, so last seasons definitely didn't breach any rules.
The holograph one from a few years ago was better than this one. So we could quite easily see a badge with hull at the top and just tigers at the bottom???
