http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...n-thieves-wouldn-t-understood-value-haul.html another great example of how football is moving away from its roots and how those in football are losing all sense of perspective - what happened to playing football for the love of the game
This has got nothing to do with football, he retired over twenty years ago, this is just a robbery story and I'd be as pissed off as he is.
sorry bud, but he's one of football's icons, one of the main football tv presenters and pundits and wittering on how much he enjoys wine which costs £750 a bottle - whilst he's guzzling 3 large glasses of red, the rest of us have to find that money to pay for about one and a half season tickets
So Sharon has an issue with people who are successful and done well for themselves enabling them to enjoy the finer things in life. Whoda guessed that eh?
You should be more worried about present day footballers sticking £750 worth of beak up their hooter on a night out, as opposed to a millionaire TV presenter in his 50's enjoying an expensive claret. I bet he's never filimed himself with his mate tag teaming a £2k a night brass either.
you're quite wrong actually - I just don't like people who feel the need to tell everyone how well they've done
I've got a couple of bottles of Chateau Margaux, though I don't keep them in the garage and I'm not having any building work done, so I'm probably safe.
He wasn't telling everyone how well he had done. If it hadn't been stolen the existence of this wine and its price would have remained unknown.
I've a couple of bottles of Single Malt bought for £50 ~4 years ago. They're now valued at £200-£250 each. Who knows, they mIght be worth over £1,000 in ten years, (although I'll probably drink them before then). In 2003 I was given a bottle of wine costing £8. Drank it in 2013 when it was worth about £160. Quite mad how these things can accumulate in value over the years.
Rich or poor who wouldn't be pissed off? Someone has stolen his stuff, just because he can afford it doesn't change anything.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/rela...ssed-the-best-moment-of-the-FA-Cup-final.html I'll make up for it by posting this
I once bought a £100-quid bottle in a restaurant as a surprise for my wife's b'day (she assumed it was the usual £15-20 job). I asked her to do the tasting, she sent it back, said it was corked.
