Yup, he could of Won Australia without the broken floor, should of been on pole at Monaco and he really should of lead a 1-2 at Canada.
Yes, Hamilton has made countless errors during this season but at Silverstone it was McLaren that let their drivers down and not the other way round.
Monaco's quali position was not Hamilton's fault, he just didn't argue against the team's poor decision strongly enough. After that, he never had a chance regardless of his overtaking
Another McLaren mistake leaves Button down in 13th on the grid. You have to wonder, do they really want to stop Red Bull?
Whitmarsh seems too friendly with Ferrari. I doubt that goes down well at HQ. McLaren are making too many mistakes, any more and someone will pay for them.....
It annoys me when the BBC crew say it's good to see how friendly the team principles are, I'd much prefer it if they were at each other's throats.
So far this season Mclaren have cost Button a potential 2nd or 3rd place, a 4th place, and a pole position. I am also still pissed at their pitstop last year at Monza. Yeah I would like the team principles to be less friendly with each other and more inimical.
Why? I dont' see the problem with getting along with other team members so long as your not giving away team strategies? Are you enemies with someone who does the same job role as yourself but for a different company? There is only 14 teams in F1, job roles are limited, the last thing you want to do is make enemies, otherwise you loose your job that's it out of the sport. I do think the current strategist at Mclaren needs to reconsider their role, some very dodgy decisions this season for both drivers.
I absolutely agree, McLaren definitely need to improve their strategy (except in the wet races where Button's/McLaren's decisions have been superb). By the way, I thought there are 12 teams in F1...!
actually i think there's only 11, Torro roso and RBR are the same team, once again a Torro rosso refused to go passed a slower RBR when it could've today.
