Ruben appointed new co-chairman. More evidence, from what I can see, of TF taking on a more wihdrawn role: http://mobile.qpr.co.uk/news/article/ruben-gnanalingam-qpr-co-chairman-tony-fernandes-2492665.aspx
Really positive move by the club, and one we've sorely needed for the past 4 years. We need a hands on approach and a consistent support structure and this reshuffle achieves that. Could end up being our most important signing of the season.
“I am eager to just get down to work. The time for talking will come later.” Is he having a dig at Tony?
Does he tweet? If so, would it be possible that the combined tweeting output of the co-chairmen could be capped at a reasonable level like 50 pa QPR related, and any over that be subject to a fine similar to FFP?
Gangnam was already on the board whilst TF was blowing over £200 million so he is as culpable. The difference now is we'll have two clowns rearranging the deck chairs on the on the Titanic...
Why? He's already a board member, representing Mittal's 33% holding, but the accounts showed that they are putting in a lot less than is proportionate to their shareholding compared to the Malaysians. Which is probably commonsense. I think they are hanging in based on the Old Oak flat building scheme. Amit put a human face on things at the end of the Goon era, but he's just a subsidised playboy.
The Mittals have presumably taken a share of losses proportionate to the amount of control they have, and thus degree of blame. Don't recognise your description of Amit. If nothing else, the sound business sense of those behind him is immense.
No they haven't Goldie, they have put in a fraction of what the Malaysians have, Can't blame them for that of course.
But how much executive, day to day control do they have, Stan? TF and his syndicates have called the shots. Amit appears to have been an observer. There must surely be some kind of profit/loss sharing arrangement behind the scenes irrespective of shareholdings.
