I'll start taking notice of England again when they start beating teams of note, not struggling to get a result against a team from a country of 2m.
I'm not saying Delph is world-class or anything, but he's looked more effective than many other midfielders who have been tried (Cleverley springs to mind, of course). He also does a lot of the unappreciated stuff, such as minding the back door when Wilshere or the left back push forward.
Woy should have given both Austin and Vardy the start against the ROI as another example of Woy messing up team selection.
Don't forget Scotland once drew with the Faroe Islands ffs! We might be cack. but we'll never sink that low.
Really, Woy? ****ing REALLY? Yeah, picking players who are on form is just ridiculous, isn't it? You ****ing stupid imbecile. Just piss off.
I'll start taking notice again when they get rid of Woy and start actually picking players deserving of a place. The england team selections have been shocking for some time.
Fair enough comment, there are far worse things to be concerned with when it comes to Hodgson and his team selections. I wonder if the likes of Rooney will think they can exploit Hodgson when it comes to the finals, much like the pro's did with Bobby Robson back in the day, he's already come out (Rooney) and said how happy he is with things in the England set-up, not a good sign when players are getting an easy ride and feeling comfortable in their positions
The media will keep Woy's feck ups on the back burner until for after euro 2016. Woy is about as fire proof as he can hope to be as of now.
] Well Curtis Davies and Tom Huddleston were not even picked for the squad after the seasons they had in 2013/14. Woy still needs to be grilled on why and how fecking Chris Smalling gets into the squad.!!! John Terry on a mobility scooter would be better than Smalling.
Yes. As for Vardy and Austin playing against the ROI in a meaningless match it should have proved one thing at least if they had started ? Lets face it both could have hardly have done any worse than those that did start the game.
It does seem a great pity that Terry and Cahill are not at the heart of the England defence at the moment.
In truth, I didn't watch the game, not even the highlights (if there were any). **** friendlies, I've got better things to do. Meanwhile, England have been given the easiest group in tournament history, yet we still only just scrape past the likes of Slovenia. The only bright spot so far as England are concerned is that I never again have to witness Gerrard playing for us. I'd rather they appointed Pulis as manager and just gave him carte blanche to play the team and tactics of his choice, with no pressure to include any golden boys/balls.
