I know our club are very slow in all their processes, whether it be releasing new kits, signing new players, etc. This happened over 3 weeks ago, why the hell hasn't it been put to bed? What are we waiting for? Presumably his B sample, but surely this should of been resolved by now? I hope it clears him as he could be amazing in the Championship, if Sherwood doesn't come sniffing...
Would imagine that there's a lot going on behind the scenes, on the legal front with his lawyers and city's.
True, it seems to be dragging on that's all, even if they announced his B sample was positive, at least we'd know he'll probably be sacked and we can all move on..
Nothing ever move's fast when lawyer's are involved, and the longer it goes on, the more they profit.
I think something may have happened else surely his B sample results would have been published by now?
Whatever happens happens. However I am expecting Livermore to get at least a 6 month ban. I don't expect us to sack him either.
The club will know what's happening but won't want to tell us. We don't matter. The B sample was weeks ago and the result must be known and some sort of process for his punishment outlined. Rest assured though, if Hull City Tigers secures an exciting new sponsorship venture we'll be told all about that.
Or there might be legal matters or contractual issues that need resolving. Why do you feel so entitled to know everything at the instant it occurs?
Bruce has already said he doesn't expect Jake to play for us again, it's now just a matter of how he exits the club.
Because Jake Livermore plays for my team and he's one of the highest earners. It's kind of important. When the Allams decide they want us to know about something it's front page news.
Yes it's important. It's important it's done and dealt with correctly. What isn't important is letting you have a daily sitrep.
Surely the FA have to complete their processes and announce the punishment before City can hold proper proceedings against a player as the length of any ban has to be a factor in any decision the club come to.
