    Touche.

But it you can't leave riise out, even just for his screamer of a free kick against United.

Or have him as a specialist kicker... Bring him on when only having a free kick 25 yards out <ok>

Some of the players could use the body armour that they have the way they flop over injured when being touched <ok>

    Reina

    Arbeloa
    Carra
    Hyypia
    Aurelio

    Mash
    Alonso
    Gerrard

    Kuyt
    Suarez
    Torres

Surprised I'm putting Kuyt in but looking back at it - he will always be known for his work rate etc, but he also very effective. He got key goals and assists, and we signed him for around £10m.

Now Kuyt is the perfect squad/utility player that every team needs.

Yes he was but he was signed and failed as striker and attitude and work found him a role. Once he couldn't do it he was stuffed

I reckon a team with Suarez and just at their best would be awful to play against as a defender cos you'd have no time on it

  10. You're effectively saying Rafa was a single player short

There's only 2 contestable positions really; LB and one of the forwards and the forward spot mostly comes town to preferred formation.

Rafa's team was so close to being brilliant

It is a worry that bar Suarez, Hyypia and the 2 local players in Gerrard & Carragher, you could pretty much make up the rest of the best 11 out of Rafa's players...

And they say Rafa's transfer record was poor <doh>
