Was a great performance and unlike against Nadal in the Aussie Open last year Wawrinka won against somebody who was fully fit - he just outplayed Djokovic for 3 sets.
I see Sir Bradley Wiggins has added another kilometre to the world one hour time trial at the Olympic Velodrome.
Good to watch also Peter Kennaugh win the first stage of the Criterium du Dauphine the traditional build up to the Tour de France today.
Not sure if I should put this in the Nest or here, but jerzeypie was working with the Balfe Motorsport team at the International GT races at Silverstone this weekend, they finished 5th on Saturday and 2nd (from pole) yesterday. The races were live on Motors TV and I managed to spot him with the rest of the team after yesterday's race.
Watched the stage and was amazed at how he kept the pressure up and going over the final 2 Km. However a one week race is rather different to three weeks of the Tour. Somehow it doesn't seem the Sky team is quite as strong as previous years.
I don't know what the record is for most runs in a ODI series but there cannot be too many with more than the run feast England and New Zealand have served up! Credit to both sides for such attacking displays of power and aggression.
Excellent win - talk about taking your chances. Well done Bairstow for coming in and producing the match winning innings!
