I saw them at Rock City in '97/98 - they were very good live musicians, drummer & bassist were real tight & Dave Grohl plays and sings pretty well too, it was a brilliant gig.
those "i dont get " Foofighters - i like "everlong" but everything else is meh ! Oasis - almost everything after Definitely Maybe Album Mumford & Sons - i remember buying the 1st album after hearing an interview on R5L (there was no music accompanying interview ) anything Black eyed Peas anything Kanye West - he rhymes the word Money with Money (for example) Ed Sheeran - not even sure ive heard his music but i seem OK without it. Queen - the operatic overplay on my ears is a real turn off the band that did he doesnt look a bit like Jesus - i think they were big 5 yrs ago , i tried the album n really got irritated with his voice
I'm yet to understand the appeal of the Stone Roses, especially when they reformed and were put on a pedestal they had no right to be on.
and you can **** off as well, did you see a Stone Roses comeback gig? I didn't expect much, but they were outstanding and merit a bigger pedastal than the shard..
But it was about not getting, not about liking. How can anybody not get Elvis? He altered everything as far as pop music is concerned.
Sam Smith- have a ****ing word. Short tongued, screeching, talentless tit. Muse- Audio arse gravy aimed at pretentious, southern tail spankers. Foo Fighters- shouty, beardy ****s. There are more.
So called Islamic state. I just never got The Beatles. Songs are mostly rubbish pop. Lyrics are basic and naff.
Elvis, Stereophonics after about 2002, pretty much any rapper from the past 20 years (before that the classic rappers like GMF Run DMC were brill) and i'm really not that arsed about the Beatles either
