Both undeniably great players. A *** paper between them but Frank edges it with his goals for me.

Knighthoods are a gayfest. They're literally for sale, ask Fergie, a few choice donations to Laour and hey presto

 

Charlie Adam is better than both.

 

The honours system is completely flawed. I'm not saying Frank Lampard doesn't deserve an OBE but does he (and David Beckham) deserve the same level of recognition as Bobby Moore? Or Brian Clough? Or Bob Paisley? Did Sir Alex deserve a higher award than Paisley and Clough (at the time of his knighthood)?

 

If they deserve one for what football? Surely these awards are from charity work or something? Otherwise doing your well paid job.. if a footballer or manager earns it for that, then the road sweeper should get one too, well actually, road sweepers are more useful than footballers, lets be honest

 

Does seem a bit weird that someone gets a Gong because they can run or swim fast, ride a bike, kick a football, row a boat, hit a cricket or tennis ball or throw a shot putt. Especially when most of them are hardly 30 years old.

 

Footballs too hard for me to earn a knighthood, I think I'd have to do it the old fashioned way, invade another country and kill a few serfs
