Anything I've put up here this last few weeks seems to be first or second (and backed off the boards) but I've had a few too many seconds recently :( But anyway that run changes tomorrow! :)

    Downpatrick 4.25 HADDINGTON ROAD 11/4
This lad was a course winner just over a week ago when running over hurdles. Tellingly, from memory he was heavily punted and won with plenty in hand like the proverbial good thing. Making his fencing debut tomorrow I'm hopefully he can put his pointing experience to good use and open his account. The competition look to be a pretty ordinary bunch and I'm hopeful that Andy Macs only ride proves a winning one.

With Roger Varian's yard starting to hit more targets recently -three winners today, I expect some good runs at Ascot this week, but before that he has three at Salisbury and one at Donny tomorro -Jim Crowley rides down south, with Ryan Moore on the northern raider -Justineo in the 4 00 Sal must have a good chance dropping in grade and distance, ya latif in the 5 05 must be fancied to win the race for the yard this year. -
The Donny mount is intriguing, stoute has one in the race yet Moore is on Varian 's -......who he rode a winner for today......

All over sampera like stick 4s looks huge dark avenger should follow home s/f aswell

    450 DERULO 11/4
520 master of irony got evens but now odds on

    Salisbury
145 ELYSIAN FIELDS took 7/4 now around evens
215 ground worker 5s r/f with desert command
    505 Cape cay 7s

I know dobbs is on the 3 at Salisbury but they all looked primed so I am hoping elysian gets his adrenalin going in the first.

In the Doncaster 3:05, Ryan Moore is on Roger Varian’s horse because it is owned by some of the Coolmore connections, for whom he has a retainer this season (hence all the rides for Ballydoyle).

It looks like there are going to be a large number of non-runners at Salisbury as the rain has obviously missed Wiltshire and the going is “Good to Firm (Firm in places)”. There are already 22 withdrawals as I write at 12:30.

EDIT: I have just noticed that the one I was interested in is amongst the withdrawals, so it is a no bet day!

Ste Doran I would appreciate your input!

Should the IFA be sending a cheque for "stadium development" over to the SFA today after last nights offside and handball goal?
Fairs fair and all that!! <ale>

Downpatrick 4.55:As de Pique 3/1(Nap).Going for a hatrick off wins after two decent wins on the trot.Handicapper has been kind by only raising him up 5lbs so still runs off a nice weight.Trainer Gavin Cromwell is also in decent form and I can see another decent run on the cards.
Downpatrick 5.30:El Grande 9/2.Won a hunter chase here last week well and if he gives the same sort of performance he should go in again.
I'm also on Haddington Road as advised by Beefy above.
Gaz we we were lucky to get away with that Walters goal but draw means we are more or less out of the group now.I have been disappointment with o'Neill tbh as he hasn't made the impact I'd hope he would.Windsor park could certainly use a lick of paint for sure!

I backed the one today in the form of Cousin Bill 9/1 Downpatrick 4:25 - I had him backed before I read the posts here and I see a few of the shrewdies are on Haddington Road in it which has tempered my enthusiasm but hopefully he can go close and you lads won't mind settling for 2nd just this one day <ok>

Midgely has Monsieur Joe over for the sprint at Cork too I see, he's in good form at the moment so may well prove too good on the day there.

Martin O'Neill has NEVER been a good manager Ste and with Keane (another failed manager) beside him it was never gona be great.
I followed the forum with Albania, Romania and your good selves! Also backed Belgium on Friday. So far good measure Im all over England today -1 & -2.

Today stole the tips of Haddington Road, Sticks 1st and the Moore/Varian horse So heres hoping something funds a pint for the game!

Fancy Mojo Risin to win the French Group1 up next <ok>

Drawn nicely, unbeaten Lope De Vega filly out of a Galileo mare. 11/2 with our bookies.

Fav drawn in the car park so will be worth noting if she wins from there!

Wow, I was not expecting Star Of Seville to take that. Great ride and she stayed on powerfully to win from a decent field.
