Should we take a trio from QPR?

    He was reasonable for 1 season and that was down to Ba hitting the ground running scoring goals on his own and then signing Cisse who then took over the mantle of scoring goals by himself. The rest of the time the football was dire apart from a handful of games. Throughout his tenure we had square pegs round hles, poor substitutions and no plan B.

    However, he was shat on from above!

    I'd take Austin that's a no brainie, even though I don't think he'll be as on fire as last season. I'd take Phillips as he grafts and has a decent delivery on him. A qpr fan I know really rates him and is the 1 player they don't want to leave (they're resigned to the fact Austin is gone) however if krul were to go would anyone want rob green until we see if darlow can step up?

    Accurate. He performed really well all things considered and the football was good when we had the players. He was shat on royally.

    However his behaviour at times was poor. Yes he was under pressure but you can't go nudging your head into oppo players, pushing linesman etc (god help people if they think that is a headbutt and they actually get one) Bobby and KK had their moments on the sidelines too mind but not to that extent. Calling Pellegrini an old **** is different though, loads of managers give each other stick across the dug outs. Fat Stevo wanted to belly bop Poyet.

    Rob Green? Probably too old for us, but, maybe a decent option.
    Rated 11th last season of the PL keepers with Krul way down the pecking order in 18th.

    Tbf as awful as qpr were last year without green between the sticks they would have sunk even more spectacularly.

    Looks like Liverpool may be in for Austin. We're apparently trying to haggle QPR down from £15million to £11million.

    I know Ashley is tight but £11m for an English 25-year-old who's just scored 18 league goals for a **** team is a bit of a pisstake IMO.
