It was good actually until Hamilton sucked any last vestige of joy out of the programme in the second half. Great to see live bands people care about actually playing live in a slightly less formal setting than Jools.
OMG LTL, we are too alike. It was an excellent show until Hamilton tried to be the TV personality he is not. "I want to be the last star on, I want to have the longest appearance, I want to be the fastest round the top gear track; I want to be cool" #knob
Always been the case. He's so desperate to be a celebrity it's painful. Don't say "I've just come from Samuel L. Jackson's party", say "I've just come from a fundraiser for prostate cancer research that Samuel L. Jackson was holding" (which is what it was). The trouble with Lewis is, if he just concentrated on driving instead of being a celebrity, he'd actually be the celebrity that he so craves, and far more respected for it. That craving has been to the absolute detriment of his day job previously, though he seems to have got his head sorted on that front this year. Go do the celeb crap after your career has finished (or ostensibly has, Beckham style). That was my point to Tom re Vettel last week - he'd rather die than be seen doing half the crap Hamilton gets up to, and yet he'd actually have been far more engaging in something like TFI.

For a brief moment I thought I was the lucky ****er. I buy my tickets online and so you get an email if you win anything. I found out that it was a UK winner (so instantly think, **** it could be me despite the odds still being ridiculous). I then get an email through saying: 'Dear RSS, We've got some news about your ticket from the draw on Friday 12 June 2015. Please sign in to your account as soon as you can for more information. Congratulations and thank you for playing' So I type in my account log in details, adrenaline pumping, shaky hands. 'Holy ****, Holy ****, Holy ****'. Logging in... 'You've won £2.90 on EuroMillions' Great, thanks Lottery. You could have told me that in the email.
Have you ever been ? I Never have , everyone I know who has been says GO . I will one day , would also like to see the Isle Of Man TT !
Ok, I've got the couch! Just got in from a parents and coaches 5-a-side competition at our boys club. It's been four years since I played and my knees are in bits, but I got through four 15 minute games (way too long straight through for old men). We won two, drew one and lost one to the eventual winners. Didn't disgrace ourselves! #knackered
Re G.O.T. - last episode on Monday!! Not sure how I'll cope without it!!! Nearly another year till the next season!! Without spoiling it for those who haven't read the books, do you think the TV series will stick to the last book and have the scene which made me cry "NOOOOOOO!!!!" at the end? (Those of you who have read the book will no what I mean) Or do you think they'll chicken out and find an alternative? I'm rather looking forward to the fallout and meltdown from my friends who haven't read the books!!
Spoiler: GoT It will almost certainly be one the last scenes. Lots of stories need conclusions but that one is the most dramatic and surprising...despite some heavy handed foreshadowing so far.
