Nice game to win, think we got 4 games left so need at least 4 more points to qualify for a first major competition in my life. Still don't like Coleman though
It was great to see LEGOLAND full again - that's twice this season. Wales v Belgium and Real Madrid v Seville
soaked up the pressure well. Coleman is doing a fantastic job and just like monk is proving the doubters wrong. with wales having mostly ordinary players he has found a way of gelling them with the big players and they have learned to defend brilliantly as they are under the cosh for most of the game. Past managers would have conceded 4 or 5 in this sort of game tonight.....credit has to go to Coleman for his superb game plan....
Unbelievable. This really could be it. Wins against Andorra and Cyprus could well be enough. We should really beat Israel as well. It won't matter about how we do away to Bosnia.
I'm no Coleman fan either, but he has got the results this competition, he must have a genius of an assistant coach............
Coleman is a jack bastard and anything touched by a jack bastard turns to gold.....credit when credit is deserved and Coleman deserves all the praise he will surely get...
Am I taking anything away from him? I criticised him previously on his tactics and such, but I credit him for what's he done so far in the qualifying. Still don't like him though, the same as I didn't like fergy for different reasons
Some great facts/stats from tonights game: The last time Belgium lost a qualifying game was in the World Cup Quarter Final against Argentina Wales played two games/three hours against the team ranked second in the world - and didn't concede a goal. Before the tournament started I don't think many Welsh fans would expect us to get 4 points from the games versus Belgium, so we are probably four points better off than expected - and they are six points down, a net swing of 10 points. Two results that have turned the table on it's head.
Because I like quoting your drivel on here at times, though I'm not saying whether or not I consider that what I quoted previously as drivel .
Just got back from the game. The atmosphere was electrifying and the players were outstanding. Colemans tactics were spot on and in some regards, reminded me of the tactics Monk has used this season. We're going to France lads
Yes, he did his shoulder in. Can't remember who it was against, but he slipped, dislocated his shoulder and had to have oxygen as he was carried off. Edit: It was against the Saints - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32461884
Thanks PGF, thought it might be injury, anyone know how far up the world FIFA rankings we will go after this win? Not sure how they work it, but it does seem to take 4 weeks for them to come out?............
