Bollocks, hes the the best thing ever on telly, Big breakfast, Dont forget your toothbrush, TFI, TV went downhill after all that

 

Agree with this sentiment entirely with the following exception.


Before he became famous Evans was the driver for the Frank Sidebottom Oh Blimey Big Band. One time they were playing in London. Pulling up on the Edgware Road, Chris Evans wound down the window and had the following conversation with a passer-by;

"Excuse me?"

"Yes?"

"Is this London?"

Short silence.

"Yes,"

"Well, where do you want this wood?"


He's never said anything funnier.

He never will.

 

Two boring bastard egomaniacs saying "My car's faster/bigger/more expensive than yours".

Worship.

Evans was the best thing about Big Breakfast but he got a bit big headed and there was a whiff of bullshit around him

What ever happened to Vaughn ?

 

He now ruins every Saturday morning on Talksport.

 

Or to put it another way, its why TV went downhill.

 

I must say, I want TFI Friday back.

Love him or loathe him, Chris Evans is a ruddy good presenter.

It's that 'Wiiiiill' I find creepy....

 

Don't like anything he's done on TV but in his autobiography he comes across as a decent sort of bloke.

 

Last night was a bit of a car crash and the reason you should leave the past in the past.

It was a mess

It was great when it started, but it's had its time and was more stilted than spontaneous last night.

 

An excellent summary of the man by the judge after he lost a court case.

"In 2001 he was fired by Virgin, for whom he continued to work after selling the company, for not turning up to present his show.

Evans sued for wrongful dismissal in the hope of receiving nearly £9million in share options he thought he was owed.

The judge dismissed the case, calling him a “petulant prima donna of overbearing arrogance and conceit, as well as a liar”,

 

Was good until Hamilton rocked on, that was ****

 

Lewis Hamilton is such an unlikeable, false turd.

I used to watch TFI occasionally when it was originally on, because I was about 14 and it was either that or more ****ing.

It's not as good as people make out.

It's the whole 'how wacky are we??' attitude that is off putting.

And Chris Evans is far too wealthy and car obsessed to try now to get back down with the kidz and students.

Stick to the One Show.

 

I like Vaughan on Talksport.

 

It beat everything else on TV last night bar Corrie/Eastenders/Enmerdale in terms of ratings pulling in overnights of slightly more than 3.3m.
