Not really, he scored 16 PL goals for a **** team. We've got to at least try to get him.

A **** team with no other goal threat at all, where everything (in an attacking sense) was built around him.

Depending on the price I do agree about at least trying though.

Unless we did, or we didn't think his profile was quite the right fit, or we thought he wasn't what we wanted, or he wanted more money than we would offer, or he wanted to play in front of 55,000 fans each week.

You have to trust the club sometimes.

If true, United's interest in Kane is a weird one. I mean he's decent, but would cost a lot of money I'd imagine...and is he that good?

I can't see this happening this Summer, Spurs would want stupid money and I don't see United parting with that after 3/4's of a season. If he does it again next year then he will be leaving for big big money.

Personally I think he's the real deal, not a flash in the pan. He has it all

It will be interesting to see how he does next season, I believe he is a flash in the pan....he got lucky with some goals that were deflected in but we're still credited to him (not bitter about Manes perfectly good goal against Sunderland at all) ...:)
But the proof will be in the pudding.

That's just bitter Ritchie, there is no way the Villa keeper was going to save that free-kick before it was gently chipped over the wall (then deflected in completely the different direction) .... even though it was going straight down his throat at the speed I move across the lounge when the wife wants me to make her a drink when Kylie is on the television.

I'm not convinced by him tbh. His purple patch went on longer than I expected, but I still don't see enough in his all round game for him to regularly be a 15-20 goal a season striker. Think he will end up as a decent PL striker but not much more.

Was it against Leicester when he got that hat trick? I think it was his 2nd goal where he took a shot which was going well off target, took a lucky deflection and went in.

Of course, the dubious goals panel (or w/e they're called) didn't take that off him.
