They haven't but if Sanchez was at Chelski and Hazard with us, they would, they'd be like look at Sanchez and all his goals plus his work rate, Hazard needs to match it bla bla Hazard is a typical Arsenal player not having the fight like Sanchez.
But why would they be doing that? If they're not doing it now saying that Sanchez needs match Hazard (which you openly admit they're not)... why, if Hazard and Sanchez swapped, would they say Hazard needs to match Sanchez? You're accusing the media of a particular bias at the same time as saying that they don't actually have the bias you're accusing them of...
It doesn't need to make sense. Your post is perfectly logical of course but 87's point seems to be that "all the pundits" dislike Arsenal.
Isn't it funny how all the pundits praise Sanchez and in the same breath claim that Arsenal has no leaders.
Probably something to do with Sanchez being a really good player and Arsenal not having many/any leaders.
It might be, but the thing is the qualities pundits like most about Sanchez are just that - leadership qualities. The guy elevates the team with his attitude and workung rate to the point where players openly admit that they are feeling embarrased in training if they do not work as hard as him. Same on the pitch. If that is not leadership then I do not know what is. The truth is pundits live in the world of safe cliches. I remember Arsenal after the Invincibles, when they were sh*t, but still pundits kept saying Arsenal instiiled fear. It takes time for then to change the tune.
You could argue Sanchez is a leader for the example he sets but not in the same way Adams was or Terry etc. is currently, though that sort of player is disappearing. That's the sort of player Arsenal need in defence or midfield- someone who will physically and mentally match Terry & Matic when you play Chelsea.
To be fair. The fact that Scholes/Linekar and Lawrenson didn't include Sanchez in their teams of the Season DOES show a strong potential for anti Arsenal bias. Scholes picked David Silva ahead of Sanchez FFS!! (he's a good player but lets be honest he had a poor poor Season by his standards) Chelsea have been the best team, Hazard arguably their best player but Sanchez has been the best offensive player in the league this term.
