    Pre contracts do exist,failt o complete then pay the penalty,usually losing your deposit,
    Had this happen to me,got paid,then sold the house again,lol.

    Failure to completes are not good.


    Had one that the dum dum lawyer decided to exchange (and when you exchange contracts you have to set a completion date), then found out that his onward purchase was not going to be ready for a month..

    To be fair to the lawyer, they refused the completion, and paid out compo

    In a word no.... Bamba hasn't signed, in fairness (and I am a fair man) to Mike he didn't accept the double or quits offer so it's just the £1000 I was invited to suggest.

    Hmm,bloke paid the deposit,couldn't complete in 30days,so doubled the deposit,then couldnt complete,lost the deal,was my mates house I got paid he got 20% of sale price,all legal.
    Pity the buyer had more mouth than cash,lol.
