According to Scott Wilson from the Northern Echo

RT @Scottwilsonecho: And in more bad news, Gosling is set for further exploratory knee surgery that will rule him out for another month. Swelling in knee. #NUFC

Another big blow, christ, we need to get people in. Robbie Keane doesn't seem so bad now does he?

Yeah over wages apparently. Although Keane came out and said Birmingham weren't serious about signing him and only did it to appease the fans.

What is with us and injuries. We seem to get more than any other team. Carroll - injured, Gosling - injured, HBA - Injured, Saylor - Injured, Raylor - Injured, Kadar -Injured, Smith - Injured Sol - Injured(or maybe just unfit). Not to mention at some point this season Jonas, Enrique, Harper, Best, Ameobi, Nolan, Simpson and Guthrie have all missed games through injury. The amount of injuries we get is shocking, I wonder what it's down to. Also has anyone heared anything about Guthrie? it looked like he came off in some pain against spurs.

Getting rather worried now, we can't rely on Best, don't care what anyone says, him and Lovenkrands just can't do it. Ranger could, but needs to sort his attitude out, he needs a goal. And Shola, well he is struggling big time to perform against teams other than Sunderland or Wigan.

Best has been unlucky not to score on a few occasions (saw it towards the end of the championship season) but I do agree we can't rely on him entirely! He's a sub-10 goal a season striker for me...A stop gap at best. Having said that, he's all we've got at the minute and I do see him popping up with at least another couple.

As for Gosling, he's not so much of a miss as he's never really been fit. I don't see that he'd have been in the first 11 when all fit anyway.

I'm interested to see who we bring in...I'm also beginining to really question the logic behind the Routledge move?

Shola frustrates me he isn't good enough but he is a legend. It takes Lovenkrands 10 games to find his scoring touch. Ranger has potential, he's quick but he struggles in front of goal, wastes opportunity's and he isn't the most intelligent of players, in another 3 years he might be good enough but we can't rely on him now. Im not sure about Best, I don't think he has been in the team long enough to be judged. And then there is Xisco who hasn'teven had an opportunity. I suggest we give him one or sell him.

Agreed, getting rid of Routledge seems a very strange decison. The more i look at it, the more it seems like a very bad deal for us.

Xisco had one thing to do this season and did it, and that was play the ball through to Carroll for his 3rd v Villa.

    Where has he gone since?

I was never happy to see Routledge go, thought it was daft, hope we have the recall option.

Loan with the option to make permanent if QPR are promoted.
