I used to feel like that but now its people I grew up admiring, some of which seem to be only a little older than me and to be frank, its starting to get a little worrying!
On the front page of this site there are 23 threads, 4 are stickies, 10 are about City/Football and 10 are currently off-topic, 4 of which are posted by the same poster. Can we please try and keep the place a little more tidy, if someone just wants to post every news story or every death, at least keep them all in one thread, if you want to post a joke directed at an individual poster try and find an existing thread to post it on, these things really don't warrant a thread of their own, many are generating barely any comments and are to the detriment of the board as a whole. This is primarily a City message board, not Facebook, let's try and keep it that way. Ta.

It's Facebook during the off season, or whenever OLM decides. No one tells him how to moderate. Just leave the board as it is ffs, the initial post in this thread was stupid, and barely anyone has agreed, quite the opposite in fact. If it aint broke etc.
Firstly, you have no idea how much time it was taking me to merge all the bollocks into single threads. It was a lot. Secondly, it pretty much stopped after I'd posted this thread. Ergo, it wasn't stupid at all and had exactly the desired effect.
Firstly, we see the stupid bollock threads that have been merged, well done. Secondly, you don't seem to want to merge all the various "Around Hull" threads into one, which coincidentally you seem to start. Thirdly, there are a lot of OT threads, which you also, coincidentally, created after your little outburst in this thread, that makes the forum look a little like FB, but, the rest of us are ok with that. Ergo, nothing's really changed.

Agreed. Some more than others deserve there own thread. You can put ""less famous peoples"" deaths in one i guess. As an example,,, The Queen dies the same month as say Rolf Harris ? Nuff said.
Who decides who's famous though? You? Me? And why Rolf Harris? Why bring good old Rolf into it? A lot of questions there Tickles that need answering. By you.
