    The Robin is a candidate for the Britain's National Bird. How impressive if our club nickname was the National Bird of Britain.

    the Wren.... that the Blue tit and the Blackbird were my immediate thoughts... the robin is the bird of Christmas.... I named a valley in the far north west of Scotland, Valley of the Wrens, and it has stuck! In the summer of 2009 I saw a dozen or so whilst walking up it at any given time 4 and I don't think they were following me !
