Except no one is ignoring anything and no one is believing anything. No one can believe anything anyone else says so you have to play the percentages. Following Valley's claim, there is a chance you are Pablo, we can't ignore that, especially since you've claimed to be a standard townie, something we have plenty of and can afford to risk losing one. The results of your lynch will tell us about Valley. If you are innocent then Valley will be next. If you are guilty then hopefully Valley as some information on MITO following an investigation.

As I keep saying, I think Valley was compromised but there are only three ways of finding out:

1) we lynch Valley and risk losing the psychic
2) we lynch you and risk losing a standard townie
3) we leave both alone and investigate

Problem with three is who do we target? You're obviously going to say MITO but again, the risk is losing the PI.

The town has six standard townies left atm (I've deducted the potential SK and hidden role) so we can afford to lose one. We can't afford to lose the psychic or PI having already lost the detective.

In short Tobes you first started on to valley making him look wrong and I posted what you said.

You are now onto me. But if valley is innocent you are guilty. The only way you are innocent is if everything valley put is a lie and he is mafia.

There are a whole host of players that haven't made much of a contribution so far today; Funky, ACS, Lucaaas, Mikey, LHTN, Tash (not one comment in the game), Sebb, BobbyD, Rolando, NSI (not one comment in the game?), Bod, Valley and Swarbs...?

Have been watching the thread all day.
I know its odd, work and all, but it is a thing....I know employment is the mythical thing of legend in Liverpool (kidding)

Anyway, hang Tobes, he kicked off in the last game when AFC fingered him and I didn't listen to him.
I am gonna make the same mistake twice and go for Tobes
If he is anything other than mafia though, I am gonna go after Valley and MITO with a zeal like that which has never been witnessed.

 

In the end there are 2 more bad guys today hiding.

Everyone knows the score of claims now.

We need to use the intestigations left to try narrow down on these.

Does reading back through the last 10 pages or so count as work?

It didn't even help. We have one very obvious (and sensible) target, but then we hit trouble. Everybody has both plausible excuses and holes in their arguments.

The new questions I have from reading back are:

1. If MITO is the PI, it would be really helpful to know if 1 in every 3 answers will be wrong or if there is a 1 in 3 chance of his answers being wrong. There is a difference. If it's the first option then chances are tennisball is mafia as I can't see the sense in him being given bad info on his first go (along with everything else that happened that is). If it's the second option then he might be wrong about Tennis but could also be wrong next time too.

2. Where was Nolberto yesterday and why suddenly appear today? Was he told he had to be silent on day one? Does he have a role?

3. I am genuinely confused as to how we check out MITO. His actions could all be bad (kill/info) and yet he could still be the PI.

 

Just caught up with it all last night and out of all the shannanigans here are my thoughts:

1. firstly from the off, OBI is a massive **** stirrer, i ain't taking nothing he says as real

2. Valley coming out early. This troubles me that after losing the doctor and Investigator, our psychic comes out on DAY 2. Why would he do this. The other thing would be his version of events allowing him to see 2 things. Is this a town hidden power or a mafia hidden power.

My initial thought was that Valley seems to be forced into saying some things. However MITO has confirmed he killed IBWT. Was that a play by MITO having been outed by Valley or is that MITO trying to be helpful. Even if Valley had seen these two things should he have come out early or as i repeat myself is it a mafia skill to have him come out with certain things. At the moment i am undecided about whether any of the information is real.

I am totally happy to lynch tobes (his defence has been weak) to find out how much Valley has been telling the truth. For me it would confirm Valleys innocence (i don't imagine the Mafia would create a play to put a mafia member in danger AND happen to finger the Cartel leader.

3. MITO coming out early. He felt compelled to share all his information with us on being fingered by Valley. Smacks of desperation before the votes have even been made. I guess maybe he thought it might show even more desperation if he's claiming roles when hes a front runner for the lynch. What he says does make sense but MITO is obviously a very good manipulator. I'm actually more than happy to lynch Sir Tennis before MITO ala what we are doing with Tobes. MITO has a good role if he is PI and MITO is pretty smart so more than happy to test his theory.

4. Sir Tennis killed me last game so i want a bit of revenge . In all seriousness, he's been fingered by MITO and supposedly Sir Tennis is really good at this game. All i've seen though are mistakes upon mistakes by him. Day 1 he said he was voting for ACS cause he was the SK last game, that was factually incorrect as i was SK last game. Since last nights revelation he has been asking MITO how he could have done 2 investigations repeatedly when MITO has already stated that he did 1 investigation and got a note saying he killed IBWT ergo no 2nd investigation. Just get this general feeling SirTennis is anti town.

As for actions today, i think the most obvious action is to lynch Tobes as out of all the possibilities we have, he has a chance of being the cartel boss and then we proceed from there

 

Not even gonna blame work or being busy, got nothing to do today but honestly just totally lost motivation to read everything in the usual detail haha. Also gave up on taking my usual notes last night, having already written about a page including a paragraph for MITO alone. Things seem pretty straightforward so I shall rekindle my usual vigour after tonight.

 

Number three is easy, we investigate him. If Valley is telling the truth (and no one is doubting the claim about Tobes bar Tobes himself) then he should be looking at MITO tonight. If he isn't telling the truth then the real psychic will know that; in this case, he knows Valley is dodgy and should be looking at MITO too.

 

Just a thought; what if Valley's claim on Tobes is true but he's been compromised with the MITO part? Killing Tobes won't help with that bit (we should still kill Tobes though to confirm the first bit)
