this HTML class. Value is http://swissramble.b This long article appears to have been well researched and factual on numbers etc
Even if you are not well up on accounts this is a must read for all of us and it will take time but worth every min
Excellent article -one of the best I have seen to go into financial details and depths yet remain interesting and readable
Also good to see somebody support us on Talksport - mind you it was Gab Marcotti who is half Italian and actually does know stuff outside of the Premier league.
Just for you Cologne. The club appreciate your support. Hornets confirm a week's work in Germany as they step up their Premier League preparations... WATFORD FC will travel to Germany in mid-July for a week of pre-season training and friendly fixtures. The Hornets are set to take on Bundesliga 2 sides Eintracht Braunsweig (Eintracht-Stadion, Friday July 17) and SC Paderborn 07 (Benteler Arena, Sunday July 19). The club is also in talks to finalise a further friendly fixture during the trip, as its Premier League pre-season schedule takes shape. Kick-off times will be confirmed in due course.
Cheers Frenchie, I will note these in my diary. Both towns are easily reachable in a day (there and back) by train from Cologne. Paderborn has a cathedral and was one of the 4 bishoprics of Catholicism in Westphalia and the Rhineland - the others were Münster, Cologne and Trier. The town has an old part to it and is well worth a visit. Braunschweig is a University City - my wife's son studied there.
Thanks Frenchie... being jobless this summer, I was tempted to go over for the preseason, but as I don't drive not too sure how easy they would be to get to
They are not difficult Kev. I always travel between Britain and Germany by train. From St. Pancras International it is 2 hours to Brussels - change and then another 2 hours to Cologne. Paderborn is on the railway route from Cologne/Düsseldorf to Leipzig or Dresden (about 90mins-2hours). For Braunschweig I would have to change in Dortmund or Hamm (If flying it would be more practical to fly to Hannover).
Thanks Cologne I was looking at flights to Paderborn and it was suggesting to fly to Munich then onto Paderborn. I might look into it a bit more and see how doable it really is, and defintiely will have to look at trains
2 teams who have been in the top flight but relegated - might prepare us well for the relegation battle!?
