Now just probably need an experienced gk as proper back-up to silvestri, get rid of Cooper and sign Bamba and perhaps another CB or even LB (as we only have taylor as our only LB). Then sign a quality CM as well as some wingers (3 I'd say), then get rid of a couple strikers and then sign a proper quality striker and we're there Thats only another 8 signings minimum
Santa must hate getting a Christmas list from you! Btw, probably said this before, but I think you're wrong about Cooper. If he continues to improve at this rate, I'd love to have him here for his entire career.
Between the two I'd agree with you, but I think Wootton did a decent job at RB in the latter part of the season and I see no reason why he couldn't take that form into CB if given the chance. I don't think either should be first choice next year but both are decent defensive options. Ideally I'd want Bamba and a new CB as our partnership going into next season.
To be fair we could keep both of them and sign 2 more CBs and we'd have 5 but after we NEARLY flogged Wootton to Rotherham last Transfer window I can see him going also I don't think Wootton will play as a RB as we're after this guy from Chesterfield so I know some people might not want to hear it but Bye Bye Wootton
Wouldn't be against getting rid of Wootton, he can just fill in at RB as well which makes him handy to have. But I really cannot see anything in Cooper, don't think he is anything like what we need to get promotion from this division.
I was only outlining the big job ahead in the transfer market. In all seriousness though, I actually think that is genuinely how many signings we will need to be competitive.
Finally the Sol Bamba signing has been confirmed by the club's website. Bamba comes in as the 3rd signing of the summer.

Wolfie, not convinced that Horton is our backup goalie, so not so sure he should be in the squad. Conversely, I think Calvin Phillips should probably be in there.
So what next I think we need to get rid of a few so called strikers Doukara ,Ajose Morrisonand possibly SharpeI would replace them with Guedetti/ Woods or Maynard and Okaka Chuka has been mooted but I think the asking price would be far too much for us. Knockeart it seems has been signed by Standard Liege so we still need some pacey wingers who can create chances Jonathan Biabiary has been mentioned but he has not played for a year suffering from an heart condition but he his very fast but very one footed and seems to have a poor shot In Midfield I would sell Byram to finance these deals along with Bianchi Defence I like Cooper and think he will only improve under some proper coaching but I would sell Wootton and lets look at THE lad from Chesterfield who seems to be coming on in leaps and bounds Please no Barton!
