    I'm trying to get this one over the line here Dave... Technically I'm covered on the Italian international line, but won't pour out its the Argie version until they've got hooked :)

    Bayern have been watching Southampton's goal video, haven't they? Damn it. Why do we insist on highlighting our talented players! I propose a Mané **** up video, a Schneiderlin falling over montage and a Clyne-in-wrong-boots movie marathon.

    We don't know if he was on their radar previously. They could have been watching him when we swooped in last summer and what he has done with us has just shown to them he can develop into a superstar... You never know.

    They might have, although if the figures quoted are accurate i cant imagine they'll bite, but like I said Muller plus 5m and you can have him...we'll even throw in a free Uruguayan midfielder and a steam mop.

    Plus he is on their "list". You don't buy every player on your list. I am pretty sure he will still be here when the window closes slowly to allow man united, arsenal and chelsea to get some last minute signings in time no one else is allowed.

    He's not a highly accomplished superstar but I'm pretty damn sure he will be in 2/3 years. I've had mates (non Saints supporting) saying he's **** and a donkey all season and i've put my neck out n said he will be brilliant, my point was semi proven when it became clear he was our biggest threat going forward. If he stays I reckon 15+ league goals next year easy.

    We all make snap judgements on players mate but I like to think that I can bow to greater knowledge other than the usual "I'm right" attitude you get from some. If I know a player well I'm happy to stand my ground though.

    As far as Italian strikers go after Borini and Balo I'm out.

    For those wondering why Bayern would want him, you might remember that he took Bayern apart in a friendly last year. It was an incredibly impressive display.
