You always get a better view of the cup final from watching on TV, being there distorts your view. I know exactly what the mood was like at the time, even Terry who's a complete outsider, says he was aware. My point was that many Newcastle supporters turned Robson and you agree, it's just a question of numbers. My last word, on this is that there were absolutely no protests, when he was sacked, which, based on what happened when King Kev, went says a lot. Whether or not everyone booed etc, there was a general acceptance that Robson had 'taken the club as far as he could'. That was quite correct, sadly for you it was as far as anyone else could either.

A bit of advice mate from one who knows the crack. Have a bath & a shave, (at the same time.) Wash your hair with Lynx shampoo. Iron a centre crease in your brown River Island jeans. Put on a nice stripey Henry Lloyd jumper on over a silver shirt. Dab yourself liberally in Old Spice or Brut 33. Get yourself out to the pubs & when you pull, buy her a few drinks & invite her back to yours for a bottle of Lambrini & 8 cans of Special Brew. If she wants fed buy her some wasabi nuts, the classy birds love them. Works every time mate.

I've no idea why you're being so defensive about your thread Smug. I wasn't having a pop at you. I was just surprised to have a look in and see 10 pages on Shearers Statue. No more, no less. I just found it funny that you're immediate response was to find the last thread I posted which was an off topic thread, top show that my thread was any less relevant, which it wasn't, as if that meant something.
